I am awaiting delivery of a Galaxy S wifi 5.0 8GB unit here in the UK. I will be using it mostly in the USA when I return there. What are the consequences of using a UK model in the USA? I understand I can change the region with some fancy footwork, but don't know if there is a reason to do so.
Thanks. |

Any region-related issues re android market access and downloading certain apps?

yes there could be some but it's not device-related, more like location/account related. Meaning that if some apps are not for the US they will not work even if you try with a SGP bought in the US.
There are ways to get around this like using a VPN connection or downloading the apk files from the Internet. You're good to go. |
