Default Friends, how are the apps?

Are there lots of good ones (similar in quality to the iOS ones)? From what I've seen the paid ones seem to cost a lot more than iOS.
Trying to pick between the Galaxy S WiFi 5 and the iTouch 8GB and it's come down to apps and storage space

In, my opinion, the apps are just as good as ios apps.
The only problem is not all can be transferred to the sd and the internal memory is only 2gb, it actually isn't really a problem, but it might be once you get 200+ apps!

How is internal memory only 2gb if this is sold as an 8gb device?

What kind of apps are you interested in?

If storage is important, you can add a micro SD card in the player.

It has 8GB of storage, and I can't imagine having 200+ apps. Chris Pirrillo says he has some unimaginably large number of Apps on his iPhone, and I still think he's lying; even though I have no reason to believe so.

Games and Utilities
Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja, iPark it, NinJump, Tiny Wings etc. (I know only 2 of these aren't on the Market, or at least I haven't found them). There are more, but I can't remember them right now.

Utilities, just useful stuff really, some of which I know is on the Market (The F1 app, eBuddy, Palringo etc.), but some of these don't have as many features as their iOS counterparts
I think he meant to say 6 - 8GB of storage
