Also, I really like your theme--I use .8 on my device and it's my favorite theme available so far for the Zip.

Good news thanks

I can't fix the screen-shaking issue with my theme since there is nothing to fix, the theme works properly in the UI simulator and on devices with the other OLED panel. So you can't help me, but indeed you can help Bertrik to fix this very annoying RB bug.

When I have time I'll try to design the FM radio UI.

Great theme, thanks.
I've changed font to support Cyrillic CP-1251 and now it's perfect for me.

Default Text scroll wider than the screen.....

Hi lebellium

Great theme.

Can you help with a text scrolling problem with any text wider than the screen? It seems like it flashes the text over the left most screen position on the same line while the text is scrolling...

Also, for us older folk, is it possible to make the song position counter black instead of cyan?

.... maybe swap the bitrate and file format to show the song position counter? .... please

Do you have the WiseChip screen? If I understand well your description, I also have this issue and that doesn't come from my theme but from the RB port still buggy. Have to ask Bertrik if he can solve this problem.

Of course I'm not going to release different versions of my theme to satisfy the different personal requests. I can just help you to modify the theme yourself.

To change the color of the playback time (cyan? I thought it was green ), just replace the color code in bold below in the WPS file (black = 000000)
Code:
%V(30,85,-,-,4)%Vf(07b177)%ar%pc/%pt

I don't understand what you mean but whatever the meaning, I won't touch the holy bitrate and format display as I already said previously

Thanks for a quick reply lebellium

The scrolling text problem may well be that I have a WISE screen, as you say. I'm quite happy to wait for a new RB build as the scrolling is an annoyance, but doesn't affect the exceptional functionality upgrade.

Yes, the song position counter colour may well be green, still too light for us old fellas to read easily . Thanks for the relevant code change.

...and although being very aware of the very real possibility of being flamed to techno-screen format officianado hell , I can see the need for being informed of the file type, bitrate etc, but once read......

Thanks again for all your work, we RB infants DO appreciate it very much.

Best regards

Hey good news,
I spoke to bertrik about the scrolling display issue with the WiseChip screen and he compiled a patch to get rid of that. I tried it successfully. Just wait for the next RB build probably

A new version adding a FM UI and "dB" after the numeric volume when the repeat mode is OFF and fixing some other minor things.

PS: This theme is already RDS-compatible but as far as I know, the RDS doesn't work yet with the current RB build.

v0.90

Found it. Macs like to hide the little .anything files. A new problem, not saying its the theme but the very beta of rockbox. I can't seem to get the now playing screen to stick, every time i change it and reboot, it goes back to the default now playing screen. Anyone have a suggestion on how to make it stick?

Do you use my whole theme or only the WPS?
What is your RB build version?

I'm using the most recent build of rockbox. I'm using the whole theme, but edited some of settings like the scroll bar side and the section color. On a previous build about a week ago, I was able to make the theme stick, but rockbox would crash whenever I made any chages to the theme after a reboot. I had to reinstall rockbox to change themes.

Is there a trick to installing themes without the RBU? When I unpack I get the .rockbox folder. Do I just drag stuff into the same folders on .rockbox on the Zip? RBU doesn't know about the Zip yet... :^)

Version 1.10 released.

Improvements in 1st post.
Download link in 1st post or here: http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?...t=sansaclipzip

If the WPS doesn't load properly, just turn off the player and turn it on again.

Well, I was playing with some new themes and they didn't work pretty well, then I wanted to get back to lebellium, but now it doesn't work either. I don't get the album art anymore in the WPS. Just some kind of vu-meter.... which is weird. Now the only working theme on my zip is dfkt's one.

For my theme it's because of a Rockbox bug or skin engine limitation: when it happens, just turn off the device and power it on again then the WPS works...

For the other themes that may occur because you did not install the RB fonts pack.
