clip zip bootloader wont work during install

ok so i was doing a manual install of rockbox on my clip zip and mkamsboot worked fine, but it said:
[ERR] model name " " unknown. is this really a rockbox bootloader?
[ERR] could not load clpzabl.bin
i was using the bootloader from dfkt's thread. do i have to do something different with this as opposed to a regular official bootloader?

Not sure why you are trying to use mkamsboot with his files as his are already complied, you would use it to compile your own build. All you need to do is unzip his, you get clpza.bin & .rockbox, then just drag and drop the two files to the root of the clip zip, unplug and let it update the firmware.

oh ok i thought i was supposed to use it like a regular .sansa file
