stuck on "plug usb cable" screen after uninstalling rockbox

I uninstalled rockbox using the utility, the utility told me to try to uninstall bootloader by updating the original firmware, but now the fuze is stuck on the "plug usb cable", can't turn it off. What should I do now?

Not sure what the "plug usb cable" screen refers to, but usually if the player is frozen its a good bet to reboot it by holding power down for a while.
