The P3 has a sleep timer and even a handy widget (the sleeping cat) to make it easy to turn off after a set period of time. Does anyone know of an application for the Galaxy player that can do the same thing? If I'm watching a movie in bed and I happen to nod off 15 minutes into it, I don't want the player to burn through the battery unecessarily. I'd like to be able to set it to turn off after a half hour, 45 minutes, etc. Tunein radio has this feature, but I'm looking for something that will work on the entire unit.
Is this built into the player itself and I just can't find it or is it possible to install from an outside source? |

I haven't looked in a while but I seem to remember that Gingerbread 'broke' most sleep apps. I think it had to do with better security. Not generally a good idea to have an app that can shut down another app. Like you have found it needs to be a feature built into the app. But again I have not searched the market for such an app recently.
