Default Chrome released for Android!

... But incompatible with the SGP.

Anyone know where I can find the apk? I've installed "incompatible" apps like this before, just not sure if anyone has a good source for the Chrome Beta apk.

It won't work. Older Android versions simply don't have the APIs for it.

The lack of Flash is not surprising given Adobe's announced a while back but I can't say that I'm all torn up about it either. Sucks that it isn't on Gingerbread but again, I wouldn't hold it against Google if they decided not to backport it; you have to draw a line in the sand somewhere.

At least we still have Dolphin and Opera.

I've played with most of the browsers and IMO, none of them come close to Opera Mobile in terms of speed and ease of use.

My only gripe - sometimes it's slow moving back to the previous page. I've solved this by simply opening links in a new tab

Still want to test "Bolt Browser" if it is compatible. Very fast browser but was still buggy last time i took it for a drive.

EDIT: Just saw that support for Bolt Browser was discontinued several months ago and it was pulled from the market so i wouldn't bother looking for the apk as it was buggy when i used it 6 months ago.
