Walkman NWZ-e438 charging problem

so my Walkman NWZ-e438 isn't charging the thing is the screen the shows it's connected to the computer is showing the battery is full but after removing it from the charge and turning it on it shows the welcome screen then turns off 2 seconds after. I checked the batter level through the computer ( right clicking on the walkman choosing properties ) it showed me the battery level is 13%. by the i just got a new charger cause the old one broke and the walkman hasn't been used in about 6 months
