I gave a clip+ to my gf and she likes the buds too. I also gave her an ath fc700 but she prefer to use the buds! i dont get it.

I haven't tinkered with EQ or amping them yet......they'll play as loud as I could want out of any of my players even with ReplayGain engaged. I hooked it up for the purpose of the photo above, but that day I had a bit of an ear infection so I couldn't really do any serious listening anyways.

The one caveat, is they do clamp on the head, if you have a sizable head which apparently I do. They sit on the ear, and after an hour or so I start moving them around to ease the pressure on the outer ear.
Stretching them overnight is often recommended, whether it is over books, or something else.....I did it one night and it seemed to ease things a little bit, and I may give it another go.

I'd rate them as better than the Cortex 'phones so many of us here have, but value per dollar the Cortex are a better deal. I paid $30 for the Cortex, $106 for the WS55...and while the WS55 are better, they're not 3 times better.

Of course, the Cortex are huge and only suited for use at home....lol.
