E Series question about preloaded files

Sadly my new E Series is only 14GB and not the usual 14.7GB.

There is a file on the player that is called "SETUP" and is about 200mb.

Can I delete this file?

Is it only for the computer to read, or is it a vital file that is used by the player?

There is only 6.99GB available in my 8GB E354.
There are some softwares and a user guide app. in the that setup folder. You could install them and have a try. Also you can delete them, if you think those are useless. You can find them back on sony's website.

I deleted it and it works.
So I guess it aint that important.
