There are two ways to use Media Go to put playlists on your player: - Via syncing - Sending the playlists to your player The following deals with my preferred method to put songs and playlists on my player: Sending them to the player. When using Media Go to put playlists on your player, do the following after making the playlist(s) and connecting your player to your computer: - Adding playlist(s) to your player: -- Right click on the playlist and a popup menu will appear. -- Click on "Add to:" and select your Walkman. -- The playlist and the songs it contains will be sent to your player. - Editing playlists on your player. -- Go to your player in the Library Navigation Pane (on the left) and select "Playlists." ---This will bring up a list of all of the playlists on your player. -- Select the playlist that you want to edit and hit "Delete." -- A Confirm Delete popup will appear that gives these options, select one: --- Delete playlist only --- Delete playlist and media --Select the appropriate one and click on "OK." -- Edit the playlist in Media Go. -- When finished editing the playlist, add the playlist to your player (as shown in "Adding playlist(s) to your player") -- The updated playlist will be loaded on your player. - Deleting playlists on your player. -- Go to your player in the Library Navigation Pane (on the left) and select "Playlists." This will bring up a list of all of the playlists on your player. -- Select the playlist that you want to delete and hit "Delete." -- A Confirm Delete popup will appear that gives these options, select one: --- Delete playlist only --- Delete playlist and media -- Select the appropriate one and click on "OK." -- The playlist on your player will be deleted. Something to mention: Occasionally, I've had two versions of the same playlist appear on my player when I send the new version of the playlist to my player and it doesn't overwrite the old version. In that case, I've had to go into Windows Explorer and delete the unwanted playlist on my player. I hope this helps.
