My Vision M:30 doesn't charge on the Zen power adaptor
He charges well via USB on my laptop. He doesn't charge on a regular wall adaptor which is heard more often. The only way, i understood, that it should charge for sure apart from USB was with an original ZEN Power Adaptor so now i bought one but unfortunately it will not charge on that ![]() I don't understand. The charge icons blinks (battery with lightning icon) as if it were charging but i doesn't. Instead of that the battery runs empty after a while. ![]() As i mentioned. Charging with USB on my laptop goes well without problems. Anyone know what i can do? The Power adaptor is original Creative Zen and brand new. |

Yesterday i upgraded the firmware from 1.40 to 1.62.
The only change is that after connecting with the Power adaptor with 1.40 he started playing music and blinking the charge icon, but didn't charge so after a couple of hours he was empty again. Now with 1.62 he starts but doesn't play (he will not play even if i try to start a song). The charge icon does not blink and after a while he just shuts down. Even no blue power indicator on the top. Again. Charging on my laptop goes perfect. What to do? |

It could be a faulty battery, especially if you've been using your Zen Vision: M for a long time. I would suggest a battery upgrade, but look for an OEM Battery because the 1.62 firmware doesn't work on after-market batteries.
