ZIF connectors have interchangeability

are the ZIF connectors have interchangeability with the 60 gig (fatty) 30 gig (slim).
also, can you change ZIF connectors from the Toshiba Hard Drive Connector to the Hitachi HD type in order to upgrade a Toshiba hard drive to a Hitachi hard drive

Are there any other ZIF connectors that will work and fit on this motherboard or are they exclusive

If you read the other zif connector thread below yours, coachop94 says there's no difference. There's probably many other threads, including tutorials if you look around. I'm not sure about the second part of your question but I doubt there's a difference.

If you need parts for your player ,it is best to buy one that is not working to salvage them. Most non-working players have a bad hardrive. If you need a motherboard or hardrive then buy just that part. There are Ebay sellers that only sell parts.
