Buying a 64gb card for my Galaxy Player

you can get a 64gb micro sdxc for 89$ or less now. if you buy 2 32gig class 4 cards, it would be around $40. The 64gig card is still over two times the price of 2x32gig cards, but it might be worth it for people who want the extra storage and don't want to swap those little cards around. i already dropped and lost a 8gig card a couple of years ago on the bus while swapping it with another one in my sansa clip. back then, a 8 gig card wasn't cheap.

My computer reads my 32gb card at about 29.2gb, closer to 29gb than what you experience. So, for me, I still come out about 1gb ahead. I understand that there's a difference in how the storage space is calculated between card manufacturers and the electronic devices we use. I'm just estimating and going by what my computer states.

As for the price differences, I am comparing what the price of the 32gb card was at the time that I decided to buy the 64gb card and the cost of 32gb cards was about $31 then. I got the card on sale with free shipping so I didn't even pay triple the cost of a 32gb card at that time.

I just received my Sandisk 64gb card. I'm using this in an International version and it worked as described.

1. Inserted 64gb card.
2. Turned SGP 5.0 on.
3. Player stated that card was damaged.
4. Formatted card.
5. Card was recognized and ready to use.

Hi guys. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I was just wondering if ALL microsdxc cards in the future (128gb, 256gb, ...) will work with the galaxy player? I dearly hope so since I would love to carry my entire collection along with me in one card.
