Default Cheaper SGP alternative for canadians (prepaid phone)

I found this while at the local superstore in the prepaid phone section it is the samsung galaxy s fascinate 4g for only 150$ I think it may actually be better than the SGP since it has a super AMOLED screen. People are saying custom roms will work on it too.

149$ W/O contract

I figured this was relevant to the SGP so I posted here

Looks fairly comparable, but two things not mentioned:

1. Screen resolution (I'd imagine that to be the same though, no reason not to be)
2. Storage capacity and does it have a microSD slot?

This unit has Android 2.1, which limits apps. Only 2 GB interal memory, although it will take a SD card. 4" screen, I like the 5" screen on the Player. Finally, it seems that the GPS is extremely problematic on this phone. Everyone wants the latest and greatest cell phone. A two year old cell phone is as saleable as a two year old banana. Anyway, the Asus MeMo and the Google 7" Tablet will soon impact the $200 USD and under market segment. You can spend a lot of money and get the coolest piece of tech on the market. But something even cooler will come out in under 60 days.

AT the time of making that video it hadn't been upgraded to android 2.3

Don't worry it can have custom roms (ICS on it ). However, it's another product not available in QC. I'm tempted to buy the nexus 7 though.

Hello, there!! I would like to know if Samsung has brought out any new model in iphone category as I am looking to buy one. When I asked my friend for suggestion he said about buying Samsung Galaxy S III which happened to by favorite too but still confused about prices.
