I do not know what to do! I have two players one A867 and X1060 and I put on both the volume of 18 player in X1060 but it is louder than the A867! how to solv this problem?

why they did limit the volume? a867?

It seems to be Sony's way of complying with a EU mandated volume cap. There have been some here that have said it's not a EU mandate but a French one. It doesn't really matter, all Sony players sold in the EU are volume capped in some way.

Some have found the volume too low, others find it to not be a problem. So far no one has found a way to circumvent the cap so it's something you'll have to live with or get a different player.

If someone really needs more volume, they can buy one of these and use an amp with the player. I use one with a FiiO E11 and I quite enjoy the combination.

friends where you can buy spare parts for a867 a864 defective or buy the parts with a working motherboard! My player does not see the computer and charges the battery so I need a Donar!
