FM radio has gone flakey

Out of the blue , my Rockboxed Clip+ FM has gotten very picky. Most of the time, selecting Radio simply hangs the clip. Have to do a hard reset.

Once in a while it works. Getting no error messages at all, just the hang. Tried reinstalling Rockbox, same problem.

Booting to Sansa firmware, it does not work either, doesnt hang, but no audio, so it must be some hardware issue.

Any ideas to being it back to life?
