Themes causing player to hang ?

Does anybody Yp-R0 hang when they try to use this theme ?

I didnt want to put it in the main rockbox thread because that might be seen as off topic.

EDIT : Does anybody know how to make rockbox load its default/safe setup on boot instead of trying to load the last setup and getting stuck on boot ?

Strange, you should do a "scandisk" on the drive. Then reinstall rockbox (simply extract the last release zip), install the optional font pack and then again the theme. It must work then
At least, for me works perfectly, ah by the way, which version of rockbox? Latest release or latest build?

Apologies for the late reply. I was out away for vacations and then I got so busy I simply forgot about rockbox at all. :-/ I normally get back to people earlier, I know its terribly rude to keep people hanging for so long. Again, sincerest apologies.

I did a chkdisk on rockbox, everything was normal. Im running version :

85a6715-120815

Please install the latest firmware 2.51 and the latest Rockbox build and try again

Just upgraded to firmware 2.51 as well as the newest rockbox commit, and it still hangs. :-/

Are there any debug files generated which I can upload or anything ?

EDIT: Downloading the fonts makes that theme work. Maybe somebody can update the theme page to mention that certain fonts are needed ?

Hum hum hum you should read the themes descriptions before downloading

You'll need a 21 and 12-Adobe-Helvetica.fnt from rockbox font pack to get this theme working

Yes it was useful anyways

But perhaps it's indeed a missing feature of rockbox, it shouldn't hang if font is missing: a good behaviour would be either don't load the specified font but a standard one or simply tell this to the user...

Actually AFAIK it does revert back to "failsafe" theme if a font is not found.
So I don't really understand, unless he did not really mean "hang" but just "theme doesn't load properly"? Hum

I dunno, what used to happen to me was that it used to get stuck on loading the theme, so much so that I had to do a hard reset. One one occasion, it did boot back into rockbox with the failsafe theme, but all other times it would cause rockbox to hang on boot, so much so that I would delete the rockbox folder completely and re-install it. (I didnt know how to make rockbox boot with 'factory' settings)
