I'd say there is a 0% chance they make a player again. They'd rather you use a Windows 8 phone for your mobile listening.

And that headline is a little misleading.....making it sound like this is all new for them. It's basically a refresh of the old Zune Pass that they offered.

at least the AAA battery requirement has been dropped off the list...and yeah. thats the zune pass renamed, which is a great product IMHO. They already have some last.fm stuff on there too.
