I'm playing this atm, in alpha but beta stats in a few weeks and it's fun as hell.

Basically you start with a flashlight and a couple items of food and drink and you need to stay alive. There are zombies around which are easy to kill, and players who will kill others on sight usually so you need to be smart to stay alive. It's hella fun.

Does this game have the typical MMO tropes of levels and "legendary" loot? Havn't really paid attention to it because if the game claims to be an MMO I just automatically ignore the game. Unless its something that claims to be like Ultima Online

That's one reason I really liked Day Z, it was bare bones, no levels (Except the "hero" status that was impossible to obtain) and it was more "fast paced" then a traditional MMO, because there was no grinding, you made do with what you found.
