Can't add/sync new music to ZHD

So over the last couple of months, I've had problems adding new music to my 32GB Zune HD.

It started out as I could add an album, but maybe one or two tracks wouldn't sync. No big deal, I can live with that.

Now however I can't add any new music at all. The Zune software briefly puts a little 'device' icon next to the song(s) I'm trying to add, but then it disappears. Likewise, the sync percentage (under the device image, bottom-left in the Zune software) starts counting as the tracks are 'added', but never hits 100%.
My device itself will flash up that it's syncing, but then nothing happens.

I can apparently still delete stuff, and I've got a touch over 2GB free space. I've just performed a 'Recovery' (I think) to ensure I've got the latest firmware etc but that didn't fix the issue.

Help me abi - you're my only hope!
