SGP 5.0 (YP-G70-US Version) flash to ICS or Jelly Bean possible?

I'm new to all of this, is it possible to upgrade to ICS or Jelly Bean currently? Is it stable?

Any links to a tutorial on either is greatly appreciated. Also would be interested in your advice regarding stability or known issues with the firmwares on SGP 5.0.

just remember there is no camera on the ICS ROMs and the JB ROM is still in VERY early development so it has a several BIG issues. Just make sure and FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER.

Before you do anything, you'll need to root your device. Most ROMs (except for the alpha-release of JB) use CWM (clockworkmod recovery) to flash on to your device, so it's advisable to get CWM before anything else. The easiest route, and the most well-documented, is to flash eryigit's ROM (2.3.6). This is documented on this forum; look for sanchezhacker's post.

As above, don't expect a working camera with any and all ICS roms.
