Apologies for reviving a dormant thread, but: does anyone have the SDK .fla file mentioned in this tutorial? The link provided is dead, and I've found no other files on this forum, and elsewhere. Everyone is pointing to that one dead link.

Would appreciate it if someone could re-upload the file if they have it, or tell me where to find it... being a noob and all, it's very likely I just missed something...

Macromedia Flash Professional 8 isn't compatable with the SDK. Once Adobe got a hold of Flash, they made sure that the backward compatability was stomped on. CS3 can read Macromedia files but not vice versa.

Well bummer. Yeah-- I had tried to open other SDK files provided here in Macromedia Flash Professional 8, but it threw some error that it was an "unsupported file type". Boo, Adobe. Boo.

Thanks for the file, anyway-- must try to get CS3 now... le sigh.

To be fair, I didn't do all of the translation. Someone else on a different now dead site started it, I just finished it and cleaned it up a touch.

I wish I could remember the handle of the other person, they should get some credit too.
