Hi all,
This is my first post here. I just got a E475 and tried to download a book to it via overdrive media console (drm wma). I can transfer to other devices without problem, but receive the follow error when transferring to the E475: Error 0xC00D2772: A problem has occurred in obtaining the device's certificate. I have had other Sony devices with no problems, but now only get the error. I have reset the device and even reformatted it, but to no avail. Can it be that this model does not support DRM protected WMA files? Any suggestions? |

Welcome To ABi
![]() It doesn't seem the E475 supports protected content. I dug up the Help Guide here http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-...=3#/manualsTab. In the Specifications and Transferring Contents Using Media Go sections it states that protected content isn't supported. The specifications say Quote:

Thanks for the answer, and the welcome! I have been lurking here ever since I bought my first sansa years ago.
I dug around a bit, but didn't see that footnote. Any idea why they would make an about-face like that? I didn't even check this time since my previous sony (the s545 which was almost identical) did support it. For that matter, why would a device not support drm these days?? Is there any work around that I can use, or alternative software that can be installed on the device? I appreciate the help. |
