Z walkman can't update !!!!

My walkman can't update to ICS, i don't know why ????. I downloaded 3 packs: US, Canada and UK (maybe because it 's from Sony UK Support) but i can't install, it always says: "Connect your device" but i pluged it too many times !!!!!

So if you guys had updated completely, please help me. Of course, i don't know my device is which version

Please verify that all required conditions are met prior to updating the device.

• In order to install this update, there must be at least 310 MB of free space on the player. Please follow the steps below to check the amount of free space on the player:
  1. At the Home screen, tap the "Menu" button.
  2. At the Menu screen, tap "Settings" and then "Storage".
  3. Under "USB storage" confirm that the "Available Space" is at least 310 MB.
• Confirm that the low free space notification icon does not appear on the status bar. If internal storage free space is less than 10% (approx. 100MB), the system may not boot properly, or settings and application data may not be inherited properly.

In other words, please read the manual.

My free space is above 800mb, so i don't think it is the problem !!

Btw, i see the info and it says: 1.21.0009, so my device is HK version right ????

I see. In that case, please attempt update using this file:

I personally recommend performing a Factory Reset (Erasing all storage) before performing the update.

I have the same problem, Windows 7 install my device as a USB drive, so when the update program try to update the new firmware it says " connect the device to the computer" but it is already in. The program is looking for a walkman, but win 7 installed a USB drive, so it can't find it !!!
