My very first rock concert , went with some other friends and all of them said it was one of the best shows they've been to. A lot of energy in the crowd (well, not on all songs) and a good setlist.

If you recognize them, it's probably from this song:

Bramhall - Jellycream - 1999 - Japanese Edition

I love this album so much, I wore it out. (Damn cd wallet cases). So I figured I'd spring for the Japanese version as a replacement, since everyone wanted so much for the US version. 1 extra track, which seems to stand out as different from the others, but it may be because I'm just not used to it. Perfect blend of funky rock/blues mix. Damn shame there's only 3 "solo" albums from Doyle Bramhall II.

Robert Cray - Nothing But Love - 2012 - Limited Edition

Kind of gave up on RC when he put out a string of cds in crappy cardboard sleeves. This one came in super cheap though, and it's a digipak with what looks like a Rock Candy length rundown of how it was created (but no lyrics). One extra live track over standard.

This is great album all around, everyone is spot on. Despite Kevin Shirley's involvement, it sounds pretty damn good, but I think the style of music fits his production style more.

W.E.T. - Rise Up - 2013

Damn near sonic bliss. Have to wait to see if it's durable or not but after the first few listens, it's probably the first contender for album of the year.

Charred Walls Of The Damned - Cold Winds On Timeless Days - 2011

Found out about these guys when Ripper Owens was on a rerun of TMS, had missed them entirely. Pretty good stuff. Supposedly another Beyond Fear album on the way too.

Driver - Countdown - 2012

Rob Rock, Roy Z and company return. Fairly decent, but I'd rather have some more Anala fronted Tribe Of Gypsies, Dickinson solo and Rob with Impelliteri.

De La Cruz - Street Level - 2013

Pretty good band musically, although the guitarist just left. I'm not a huge fan of the singer though. Some are comparing him to Joe Elliot, but he seems scratchier to me.

Try to find the video of them doing it, the "From The Basement" session.

Furyon - Gravitas - 2012

Hard to describe these guys. Kind of modern hard rock band with an 80's twist or vice versa. It took a little while to get into it but it's growing on me.

Glenn Hughes - Live At Wolverhampton 2 - 2012

Two night set, one with mainly solo stuff, and one with a Trapeze set list. Pretty good all around, but kind of bummed I didn't know Jeff Kohlman (Edwin Dare) was in his band or else I might have gone out to see him again.

Racer X - Snowball Of Doom - 2002

Kick ass live show in a club setting. It would have been nice to have Bruce Bouillet fill out the 2nd fiddle role, but Paul flushes things out nicely enough.
