Default Player 5.0 factory refurb now $129.99, 4.2 is $109.99, 4.0 is $99.99 eBay

BigOutletElectronic on ebay had just reduced the Galaxy Players on ebay. These are FACTORY refurbs, and I have never had a problem with any items I have purchased from them. Title says it all, check sellers other items for the 4.0 and the 4.2. Extended warranties are also available for little $'s.

LInk to 5.0:

Must be about time for the New 2nd generation Players to be announced.

the 3.6 and 4.2 where the "second generation", there is a 5.8 but only in Korea, aside from that the SGP line is DEAD, don't expect to see anything more.

May want to check the stickies above as there appears to be a new player line in the works with JB 4.1.2.

Well, knock on wood, but my 5.0 is still working just fine, with plenty of battery life (probably because I always have had multiple gadgets so it was never a primary use player).

I bought a 4.0 refurb through ebay a year ago (I checked my bank statements to be sure and it turns out I must have received it exactly a year ago today!) I've had no problems with it at all so I'd say there's nothing to be afraid of (Android version notwithstanding)

the thing you have to watch for in refurbs is WHO did the refurb, if it's a factory refurb then you're probably OK, if it's some random company there's no telling how the quality could be, hell I have a factory refurb YP-P2 (tiny little touchscreen MP3) that I bought and used for a good year or 2 before I upgraded to my SGP 4.0 which was a year and a half ago and THE BATTERY STILL HAS A CHARGE, I tuned it on just a few weeks ago just to see.

Player 5.0 is listed at link today for $99.99 for anyone looking for a backup device. Have had great luck with this company for factory refurbs.
