Default Navfree not finding my state map.

I've been using Navfree on my Samsung Galaxy Player w/Android Gingerbread, since approximately January of 2012. When they improved the app so that the maps could be stored on the SD-card, I decided to hold off on updating until the primary bugs were worked out. Recently though, I decided to give the update a try.

The problem I'm having with it is that, when I go to choose Virginia in the State field of the Find Address function, it tells me that the VA map is not installed. I tried all the maps I have (VA through NY) and this is the only one that the app won't acknowledge. I've updated all the maps. I've tried moving them to my internal memories and back again. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I was considering the Copilot free version but, I'm somewhat wary of a GPS app which requires me to signup in order to use.
