Default Any way to dim the screen more?

I'd like to be able to use my SGP in the dark without being blinded by the screen. Are there any software solutions that will expand the range of dimness below the factory setting?

There is an app I use on my Android phone and both of my tablets.....looks like it should be compatible with SGP, worth a look.

Just to add to your options, I use the program Darker on my Moto X, which also looks like it would work with the SGP:

One thing I do for that aside from the screen, provided you have root, is to run ledkill script with script manager. This turns off the button backlights.

Read post number six.

And for the screen I use any screen timeout. Gets you a little below the lowest system setting without putting a filter overlay on the screen.
