Deleting Songs

I do not have the manual that came with my Creative Zen V -1GB, can someone tell me how to delete songs from it. I've got the adding of songs down but can't seem to delete.

Also without the manual I do not know what the symbols are when the playlists are being created. There is an 'X' and a 'XX' that I do not know what they are used for. Can someone help me?

Here's how to delete songs on the player (while using the player)...

Go to the song list/now playing page, select your song you want to delete, then you hold down the back button to bring up the pop-up menu, then you select 'delete track' and it should delete your song. I'm not 100% sure on this, cause I left my Zen with my dad, so i can give you a better answer tomorrow .
