Default zen plus connecting and disconnecting can u help

sometimes the zen starts playing when I connect to usb,so I have to remove and re-insert a few times, for it to get recognised. When it does everything works perfectly as this is a brilliant little player.Maybe itcould be the lead as when I squeeze the usb connector it usually works. After transfering, when I click on safely remove hardware the zen is not listed,so I just have to remove it anyway which disconnects my Internet connection.Any ideas on this.

Uh... Get a new computer... Nah, Jk. Maybe it's the USB cord? Have you tried replacing it? Or maybe the USB port itself? Concerning the internet thing... I have no idea. That shouldn't happen.
PC: Athlon XP 2600+, Nvidia GeForce FX 5200, Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1, 512 MB Ram, Seagate Baracuda 7200 RPM HD. (It is the best crappy computer you can get!)

Mp3 Player: White/Orange Zen V 1GB (Small is cute, right?)

Cool Same Thing Happened To Me

The same thing happened to me... every few times I connected it, it wouldn't go into the "connected" screen. I tried a ton of different things, and eventually replaced the cord, and it works a lot better now.

2006-Creative Zen V Plus (2gb - Black)
2005-iPod Shuffle 1st Generation 512mb (It started my iPod hatred, lol) - Status: Dead...
2004-Dell Axim X30 Mid - Status: Working
