I finally decided to take the plunge and go and buy an X5L along with Shure E4G off e-bay. After plenty of research i eventually decided on this and I hope I have got it right. This day last week I had never even heard of shure or even cowon. All i knew was I didn't want an i-pod and wanted something different but the sound had to be amazing. I have never owned an mp3 player before and I'm 26 years old. I love my music and I am very excited about this.
Hope i have made the right choice. Time will tell.Any tips on what to download while Im waiting for the X5L to arrive?

![]() That's the beauty of UMS/MSC players... just drag and drop your music onto them, and off you go. But if you want to re-rip your CDs to the highest quality possible, so the sound is fitting for an X5, then download EAC and LAME - both links are in my sig.
