Default ZC Select and back button not working

I have a Zip clip that is almost a year and a half old. About four months ago the back button stopped working, but I managed to work around it. Now the select button no longer responds. I've tried hard resets, turning it on and off, and reformatting. Is the device just dead at this point or is has anyone experienced this and know of a solution?

Seen a lot about power buttons not working but nothing about any other buttons.

There's generally no fix for hardware-related issues unless it's a case of pocket lint (or other indescribable schmutz) stuck under the buttons. You might try blowing it out with canned, compressed air but as tight as the button panel seems to be on the Zip, it's questionable whether this would help or not.

I'll see if I can find some and try that. Thanks.

You can usually find it at Radio Shack, Office Max/Depot, Fry's or any computer-related store. It's great for blowing out crumbs and staples from between the keys on keyboards.

Just remember to use short, quick bursts, not longer than a second or two at a time or the propellent comes out as liquid. Not good.
