Micro SD cards for NS-DVxG

Anyone know of any cheap deals on a Micro SD card, perferably online stores, because I have a NS-DV4G and have little room left. I know 2 sites, but wonder if their is cheaper... (sorry if im a little off topic)

I think Meritline is about as cheap as it gets.

I bought a 1GB A-Data card from Newegg last month for $24, which was an incredible deal at the time. And now you can get one for $10... I can't believe how cheap they got in such a short period.

Several of the big box stores were selling them for about $25.00 last week. By getting a "price match" at Staples, it came in at a little over $23.00.

I picked up a 1 gb kingston from newegg when I ordered my player. Came out to $12 and change after shipping, and was even the good kingston (Japan instead of Taiwan).

How do I add files to the player with the sd card.

I have a 512 but it wont let me transfer stuff.

WMP11: Click "Next Device" in the upper right corner. Then sync files as usual.

Media Monkey: External storage is not supported.

Windows Explorer (MTP mode): Go to "My Computer" > "Insignia Video Player" > "External Storage"

Windows Explorer (MSC mode): Go to "My Computer" and you should find two removable drives. One of them is the internal memory, and the other is external.

When im in windows Media player and select External storage for the player it does not haves the Alblums, Audiable, Music, Photo, Etc.. like the internal has and when i transfer a video or music it seems like it transfers but it doesn't.

Whats wrong?

It's not supposed to have those folders on it. It should be completely blank.

But nothing transfers still.
when I go into the my computer it does have media and data in it though

It sounds like it is transferring then. They're just not playing.

What types of files are these?

Hmm... You might try formatting the internal memory. Sometimes the database gets messed up, and it refuses to show you what's on the external memory.

I tried formating it 3 times already.

Still cant seem to get files on it.

Try formatting both from within the player (In the player, go to "Settings" > "System" > Erase Internal Memory" then "Erase External Memory").

Then try syncing. If that doesn't work, then I don't know what could be wrong...

I dont know what could be wrong I tried formating in my computer and in the player itself.

Could I have a faulty player?

This same Sd Micro card works in my cell phone fine.

Have you updated the firmware yet?

No I have not updated, bad move I guess.

Two questions before I do:

1. Will it delete my music

2.Will it fix this problem(lol)
