Default V Plus not connecting.

Hello everyone,

I got a SuperAguri White/Red Creative Zen V Plus for my birthday on Sunday. I tried installing it, and everything went fine. When I go to connect it, however, the mp3 player will go in, and the "New Hardware Found" prompt comes up. When I try to install that new hardware, it always says it fails. Also, the mp3 player always is saying it is not connected. I have tried both of my USB cables, but to no avail.

Anyone got the fix for me?

Thanks,
Matt.

Running Windows XP Home Edition, and I am trying to install the player itself, after it is connected to the PC. It says "Found New Hardware" then the new hardware installation wizard comes up. I try to install it, using all methods, and it won't install.

Thats a photo of what comes up when I try to install it, after every try.

The drivers for your hardware should be on your disc you got with your player.

Ok, the way I do it, which always seems to work, make sure you have WMP 11 installed. That's all you need. WMP recognizes the Zen as an MTP device and set's it up accordingly. No stupid CD's, no special drivers. It may not work for everyone, but I have tried it on multiple computers and never had a problem.
