Default Just bought the black/orange skin, having problems...

Since I put this on I seem to be having trouble with the wheel, it gets stuck a lot!

Anyway to fix it?

The silicone case is complete crap, return it, and get the leather case instead - or buy and modify a screen protector.

Well, in general, the case is said to be worthless at the Insignia Thread @ Dapreview.net many times.

In your case, other than returning it, I'd recommend taking it off and stretching the area around the wheel, but don't over do it - as you may stretch it too much (leaving a permanent stretch)!

I don't see what the problem with the packaging is, just tape it up! BestBuy doesn't have, to my belief, a policy stating that the packaging needs to be in perfect condition. As long as it isn't that bad...

plastic packages are made just for that destroying , it is a theft package, so just place it back andreturn the stuff.
If you like and not recommended you can cut around the diameter but why would you do that if it is not correctly made, the inventer should have made this bigger than the spin wheel?

I couldn't wait to buy the black/orange rubber case. I got it home. Put it on the player and it's terrible. I was really disappointed. Turning the wheel is nearly impossible. I took if off and went back to the plastic case. Oh, well.

I too can't return it. I destroyed the packaging. Maybe I'll put it on ebay. Anyone wanna buy it?

You could be right. Heck, it's worth a try. Maybe I'll video tape how tough it is to move the wheel, and send it to them. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video ought to be worth 10,000.

You may as well take it back to Best Buy and show them in person, it's the same company. I don't think they care if it's in the package or not, as long as you've got the receipt to prove when you bought it.

totally agree on the return, but if you're pass the due date. or heck I still video it to show them a patent that someone made, defectvely should be ashamed trying to make a quick million off of us.
look for the Union label?

I know... I have more money invested in Insignia products than my first car. ha, ha. I should get a birthday card from them next year.

I even bought one of their TV's.

as long as you bring most of the mangled package with you, they will let you return it. I've never had a problem returning anything, even after I hacked that plastic all to hell. Do they think it's gonna escape!? lol
