Default Youtube videos

I have a Zen vision M and I get my videos from a site called vixy.net (some of you will have heard from it, it converts youtube files and I can then play them on my zen vision). I assumed I could use this site for my new zen v+ but it says 'format not supported'. Could someone tell me what the problam is, and how if at all i can watch youtube vids on my new zen v + which otherwise I am very happy with?

The problem is the V+ only recognizes uncompressed AVI format, not DivX or XviD AVI's.

The Zen V actually uses Motion JPEG as a video CODEC if you want to get technical =).

From the review:
Quote:
The Zen V Plus uses a Motion JPEG Video Codec because it does not have the processing power to play back highly compressed video files such as DivX or XviD. Every hour of video will take up 1.2GB of space, so don’t expect to get too many movies on the smaller capacity Vs.

If you want to download videos from Youtube, Myspace, Google…etc, just use Nuclear Coffee’s VideoGet. Here is a link to the trial version. The trial version will have a 20 limit video capture with full capabilities of dimensions, output format (avi, mpeg(s), wmv…etc.) after that…its useless. After you captured the video of your preference, convert it with Creative Video Converter and transfer it to the Zen.

Hope this helps.
