MAC user just bought a Zen V plus @ BustBuy.

Surprise! Zen V plus is for only WindowsXP? Why did they let me wlk out of there with a non compatible player? This player is for my son. I spent a hwile on the net trying to find out how to get the cd to AUTORUN. Called Creative for support. They don't support using a Zen player on a Mac. So do I take it back head up the cattle shute, buy an IPOD and let him go to town or can I get this thing set up without to much hassle. I may be in over my head. Any ideas?

The issue is that Mac does not support MTP which is the transfer protocol that most non-ipods use. There is an open source project that you might want to look into that supports MTP on the mac. Here
