Can anyone review the U3 for me? I'm pretty darn interested in it, and may pick it over the Zen Stone and Sansa Express.

Do you have the 4GB version or 1/2GB?
Some users(including myself) noticed a strong hiss with the 4GB YP-U3 and low impedance(16/32Ohm) earphones. I even noticed hiss with my Porta Koss Pro with 60Ohm. A german and a french reviewer stated, there was no hiss with their YP-U3, but they didn't test the 4GB version. |

If you interested in sound quality in this price range Sansa Clip or Sansa Express are for you.
They are far superior to Zen Stone Plus. I haven't tried the YP-U3 yet however. It's a very nice feeling device I played with one in a store, I will prolly pick one up soonish for a test to see if it can replace my Sansa Express. The YP-U3 is a much nicer device physically then Express, but Express has world class sound quality and U3 is an unknown. |

the sound? it's not about ipod, a zen or a samsung mp3 gadgets...
it's more about what give you the sound.. i mean you have to invest in a true headphone
