What do you use to manage your music? And maybe even a program which manages your music, and like makes it all the same volume, increases quality? Stuff like that.

MediaMonkey, I like it it's easy to use and you can add things onto it

WMP11, and sometimes media monkey to embed album art into tags (because WMP11 is terrible at it).

After extensive testing with various pieces of software, I came to the realization that I couldn't hear the difference between ripping with EAC and WMP. So, I use WMP 11 almost exclusively, except to clean up some tags with Media Monkey or rip a problematic CD with EAC.

Great list, dfkt. WinMP3Packer sounds neat, as I have ripped most of my stuff into CBR and would now rather have it in VBR (annoying limitation in WMP 11!). Thanks!

If the CDs are clean and healthy, then WMP should do a proper job, I guess... but if you get clicks and dropouts from scratched CDs, or your CD/DVD drive sucks, then EAC is the safe way to get a 100% accurate rip.

What I meant is, I don't have the need for some special "manager" app. A basic logical genre/subgenre/artist/album folder structure works fine for me, I can find any specific track within seconds - and I do have quite a bit more tracks than 5000... but YMMV.

Definitely Foorbar200 for playback but Media Monkey is very nice for organizing your music. Id use media monkey for everything but I wasnt able to get Asio working with MM. Like I could tell the difference anyway, Head is too Hard!

Is Media Monkey the best program to get album art for your songs if you don't already have it?

And I use winamp-my Zen Micro sucks at randomization so I use it to create and randomize my playlists but only for that.
