Ahem, back to topic...

Well it's good to know MPEG4/XviD/DivX is doable, which makes the player a bit more palatable. I still think Creative should have gone the hard drive route. IMO a PMP should offer much more space than a DAP, simply because video files are relatively larger than music files. Plus, the typical PMP user stores both formats.

Once flash memory comes down in price I think that is the only time flash based players will be a hard drive replacement reality

Seeing that the tiny Zen Stone (Plus) is the only new Creative player supporting MSC, I'd say the chances are pretty slim. System requirements for the Zen demand XP SP2 or Vista....

Quit bashing it you Cowon fanboy!!!!!

You're just jealous that your gay D2's screen is all smudged because it's a touchscreen interface, and you cant see the boobies past your dirty fingerprints.

The ZEN is better. And deep down in places you and Cptodegaurd don't wan't to think about, you know I'm right.

Damn, where is the ultimate Creative fangirl, ZenChick, when I need her.

But isn't this a fanboy statement in itself?
P.S. I know you're being facetious about this.

Let's hope they're not that slim, they did state a USB hard drive mode:
Quote:
Additional features include a clock and alarm function, volume restriction, eight equalizer settings, and a USB hard drive mode, which allows you to drag and drop files directly to and from your Zen. The Zen can also function as a handy organizer, allowing you to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook and display your contacts, calendar, and tasks.

I'm not yet convinced or won over by this new Zen Small Wonder. The ZSW seems to have cheap-looking controls that would feel like the Zen V.

ZSW... great abbreviation! That one should be officially used here in the forums, to avoid confusion...
