Default Protected Content option?

Zenchick - Thanks for the very useful comparison table. On this thread I asked if the Protected Content option to allow password protection of files was still included on the brand new Zen model, and Chuck has replied that it does. If you are able to confirm that for sure, then it would be useful if you could update your comparison table to include that feature as included on both the Vision:M and the new Zen. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that, as I don't own a Zen (not to be confused with the ZVM - which I do own), and probably won't for some time. The data I placed in the table all came from Creative's websites.

Hi Zenchick

I think I'm able to confirm Protected Content option DOES indeed remain as a feature on the new Zen. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a0xt1qtIgQ and at 7m 30s of the demo video you'll see that in the Player Settings menu there's two items at foot of list "Protected Content: Show" and "Protected Password". If that's same/similar to the settings options for the ZVM then you should be safe to add that feature to your comparison table
