Hi, I am looking into buying A Zen V but I have looked at reviews and people have complained about it freezing. Does the Zen V plus freeze less or is there any way to prevent the Zen V from freezing?
I don't care much for the extra features of the Plus but i don't want the the Zen V if it is going to freeze on me. I will be using it riding my bike 50% of the time so i want something that will be durable. Thanks for any help |

I don't see why the V would freeze more than a V plus (which I have). From my experience freezing normally occurs during transfers, not on playback. The player that froze a hell of a lot for me was the Zen Vision: M. Mostly during large transfers and sometimes during actual use.
For more stability, I suggest using just one syncing or transfer method beit windows or creative. Just use one and let it do all the work. Later on, I started using windows media player to sync files and it works well enough. No hanging or anything. And I didn't need to install anything either. |
