anyone had trouble with x5 audio? or perhaps capacitors or audio output buss going bad...? i get a very loud crackling and audio dropouts. the only way to deal with it is to pinch the unit (somewhere around the video screen) and hope for the best. when it eventually calms down all is well, but until then it is unbearable. it's been getting worse over the last week. thoughts? what sort of paperwork do i need to send it back to cowon for repair? or do i just bite the bullet and wait for the x7 like everyone else... ta zip

Sounds more like the headphone jack gone bad to me. That happened to my X5 too - after I inadvertently flung it 5 meters through the air, landing on a hard stone floor. Good thing it was covered by warranty.
