About the GUI...
Does anyone know if it has any of the things we've requested in the ns-dvxg feature request thread? Specifically different colors? Or more importantly a customizable wallpaper? Is the Bootscreen different? In-player file deletion?

OK, in the settings it lets you change the background color to a few different colors. Default is blue. I have it on dark grey now. Unfortunately, no customizable backgrounds. The closest thing to customizing a theme is changing the main screen from the circular 3d-style configuration to the "matrix" layout (kinda like Windows Mobile).
It lets you switch from right to left handed scrollwheel, but not portrait. Even though the portrait would be uncomfortable due to the tall TFT configuration, it should still be an option, IMO. I still need to see if the firmware is up to date.
