Buying from Creative's ebay store - your experience?

I really want to grab a 60g ZVM before they are all gone - and Creative is clearing their inventory via their ebay store. I buy lots on ebay, and pay close attention to seller feedback. Frankly, Creative's feedback sucks. But I have read here that many of you have had good experiences with Creative as a company.

So have any of you bought from their ebay store? And how was your experience? Any problems? I'm up in Canada - and really don't want to deal with having to return, etc...

I got mine from their ebay account. All you do is end up paying through their Creative website using paypal. I recommend going through the Creative labs website and using eBates to get cashback then pay for your item.

I received the product. It was a refurb, looked clean and new. It works fine. Shipping only took about 3 days.

I haven't bought any MP3 players from them, but I did buy my soundcard from their Ebay account. The transaction was smooth, and I got my card within a few days.

I purchased a 60gb on the 21st, The order status page still says "processing shipment" but I've heard they don't like to update that alot and I'm sure the holiday took some time. Plus I partook in the free shipping... 4-8 days, but I'm waiting patiently.

I bought my 60 from them on 26th got e-mail today saying it's been shipped hope to have it on saturday.

I went ahead and bought on Saturday. Got an email today saying it's been shipped, so now I'll see how long it takes to get through customs! I sold my 30g to a coworker, so with her money I'm getting this baby for a song!!

It seems, though, that the only 60 GB Ms they have there are refurbished. Meh. They are nice and cheap, but refurbished things scare me because of the type of screen these have.

My 30g is/was refurbished, and worked great. In fact, most everyone I've talked to has had no problem whatsoever with refurb from Creative. So I'm hoping for the best.

There are still new 30g ones for sale by 3rd party vendors, but I don't think Creative has any left. And here in Canada, (where I could never find a 60g new) the 30g are still going for just under $300. Way too much IMHO.

I agree; it seems once their discontinuation was announced, these things became better than gold, and their prices shot right up. I think you'll do well with the refurb models. Keep us up to date on your experience!

I bought a 60gb refurbished from the Creative ebay store on Monday, so I'm expecting it to get here around Saturday (which would be the fifth day).

I'm SOO excited for it to get here! Finally, I can get rid of my awful iPod mini!

My 60g ZVM arrived yesterday! It looks AMAZING - no scratches at all - looks brand new. I charged it up, hooked it up, and loaded on some stuff. It works perfectly. Better than my 30g! I am so HAPPY!

They were flying off ebay, I just checked. No more ZVM auctions - maybe they are out...

Yeah they go fast but he usually re lists them pretty fast
