I did some poking around with the latest Firmware files and found something cool.

The Sansa View uses the Nvidia GoForce 6100 chipset.

Does anyone know how to directly access the chipset or graphics info through software?

Were you able to access its 2D/3D instruction set?

Is there an SDK?

No i'm just saying that the chipset makes it possible.

we'd need rockbox though, which I hope gets ported!

Yea I agree, this chip should make it possible. I wonder how different the Nvidia 6100 GoForce's instruction set is compared to lets say... my Geforce 7600, a PC video card.

Its obvious the Nv 6100 will have a scalled down Instuction Set, but I wonder how much they have in common, if anything.

If I could only get my grubbie little hands on that SDK....it would be a nice Christmas.
