I posted this question over in the Sansa View Forums and nobody has answered me yet so I'm hoping someone over here can help me out.
I have the 16G View and I want to load "podcasts" on it....actually I want to subscribe to them.....can I do that if they are in an "itune" format or is there a way to convert them so my View can play them? I have had success in dl them when they have an "RSS" link. Please excuse my elementary expressions....I'm not up to date on all the computer-eze vocabulary. If anyone can help me out....please explain it to me in very elementary terms. :-) Thanks- Deb NE Indiana |

I don't have the View, but an E200, but most podcasts are mp3s, so you can subscribe to those in iTunes and listen to on your player. The videos are in a format I have to convert before viewing.

How do I get those podcasts which are mp3s into my View?

Are podcasts on Itunes in MP3?
The View picks up Podcasts by the genre and puts them into a separate Podcast section. If you have an MP3 file that isn't strictly a Podcast change the ID3 tag "genre" to "podcast" (without the quotation marks) and it will be sectioned off. |

I have no idea if itunes podcasts are, but most on the Internet are. If there is a free podcast on itunes you can normally find it on the web some were
