Default CES Sandisk Announcements Include 32GB View
Included in the announcements that Sandisk made at CES today is a 32GB View for $350. Also a new 12GB microSDHC.

This makes me ooze with joy.
I'll definitely wait until it comes down in price though. Hopefully by then new firmware will be out and the bugs will be fixed. And some new features, maybe?
Plus Rockbox.
Sometime in June -- hopefully.

That is what I was waiting for.
It may be sold for around $300 not too long after it comes out I believe. If it drops to that price I'll snatch one.

I really surprised that Sandisk would price this player so expensively.

I guess the Creative ZEN 32gb coming in at US 350.00 set a bad precedent.

I'm sure that it won't remain at that price point for very long.

I'm predicting (sub) US 300.00 for the 32gb before Spring's end.

Yes, but Sandisk manufactures its own memory, so they have the luxury of under-cutting competitor's prices dramatically.

Just as they did when the Sansa View was introduced.
