Hi,
I have had a Sansa View for about three weeks now, and I connected the device to my computer today, and it started with small test in the upper left corner reading "Erasing... Please Wait" and then the player shut off I turned it back on and the blue ring around the wheel lit up, the screen stayed off and Windows sees it as "USB Device" I cant seem to find drivers.. now all the player does it power on, light up the blue ring and thats it Anyone know what I can do? I think the way I held it may have caused me to hold down the top button (play/pause) with my thumb while I connected it |

Sounds like a few people with the e200s. Can you try the recovery mode?

Called San Disk and they gave me a copy of the firmware and some restoration utility, but I was unable to get the device into Recovery mode, so I went and got an exchange at the store

OK, good to hear that something worked out. I was going to say you could try the e200tool with the View bootloader and firmware.
